Through its subsidiary Ultrabulk, Ultranav serves a wide range of dry bulk segments. Close customer relationships have been established by the respective regional offices, over decades based on mutual trust. Client specific needs are met by a dedicated staff, state of the arts systems and a fleet of between 100 and 150 vessels fluctuating for seasonal reasons and contractual commitments. The fleet transport numerous type of dry cargo but core products are minerals, coal, fertilizers, grains, salt and steel products. Global coverage is achieved by strategically placed offices in Santiago, Copenhagen, New York, Hamburg, Singapore, Hong Kong and Rio de Janeiro. A new office will open during 2017 in Cape Town, South Africa. The fleet size qualifies the company as one of the world's leading dry bulk operators within the Handysize, Supramax and Panamax segments. The trading platform supports customers local and worldwide needs. Ultrabulk also offer specialized MPP and parcelling services.
Through its ownership of 75% in Horizon Shipping (USA), Ultranav has become one of the major parcelling operators in the west coast of South America.
Specialized, Chilean dedicated coastal services for the carriage of coal are provided via Los Inmigrantes (NAVIN), which is operated as joint venture.
